VSM Aerospace was founded About Us in 1993 by Late Gp. Capt. C. Chandrasekharan, the first Indian to be honored by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), to enable students who have finished 10+2 (with Physics & Maths) to obtain an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence. The institute has since then added Aeronautical Engineering Degree Program (AMAeSI) to the Aviation Training Division. The Institute is approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Government of India vide approval No. Q/VSM/Trg/2970. Today, VSM Training School is one of the best institute of its kind in Asia with all required infrastructure for imparting a high standard of training, including a serviceable aircraft.

In keeping with the changing educational needs VSM Institute of Higher Education was established for pursuing the following courses:-

1. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

2. Bachelor of Business Management (BBM)

3. Bachelor of Commerce with Computer Science (B.Com)
